SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 1:14 NLT Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
THOUGHT: Don’t you wonder about the angels? Lest we give them fairy-tale status, God’s word speaks of these spirits about twice as often as money/riches and about half as often as love. The NIV mentions angel(s) 291 times and the KJV, 375 — they are a reality, and I for one am glad. Just the thought that there is a ministering spirit sent to serve me is enough to make me cry this morning. I am weary, and there is so far to go — but God in his goodness has sent not only his Holy Spirit to comfort, but his angel(s) to minister.
