THOUGHT: When you teach it like the writer of Hebrews did, you make the Christian life very simple. You start and finish with this premise: God is there and cares enough to respond when I seek. Boom. End of story. No extra words or instructions or back flips necessary.
Most translations take God’s response a little further yet: he will reward those who diligently seek. Isn’t it good to know as you start your day what exactly pleases your Father in Heaven?
