THOUGHT: When I was little, my Mom used to go around the house praying the name of Jesus, telling the demons where they could go. Then it seemed strange and even a bit frightening, but to my adult eyes, maybe not so much. She has four surviving children who truly love the Lord, and sometimes I imagine her prayers still before the throne of God, going up as incense (Rev. 8:4), still effectual in our lives even after her life here ended. So, keep praying the name of Jesus, because enough power comes from him to heal us all — and you can never tell how far those prayers will go.
