Surrounded

SCRIPTURE: 2 Kings 6:16-17 NIV “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

THOUGHT: What a pleasure it is to do battle in prayer compared to all the other kinds of battles I’ve faced in my life. Whatever happens, I can walk into all kinds of circumstances knowing my hopes, strength, dreams, and very breath, are hidden in God’s will. I’m surrounded by battles, but those who are with me are more than those against me.

PRAYER: We hide ourselves in you, Great God of the Angel Armies. It may look like we’re surrounded, but we’re surrounded by you!
