THOUGHT: Think of love as an investment. It takes years of slow, steady God-like love to build something lasting, and only one hard crash to lose most or sometimes all. Paul was convinced that all the gifts that seem so special and spiritual have a day when they become useless. After that day, love will still be operational – rewarding with dividends those who’ve practiced, prayed, invested, hoped, and dreamed of more than they could ask or imagine.
