SCRIPTURE: Eph. 3:20-21 NIV Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
THOUGHT: Thus ends the prayer of Pastor Paul over the Ephesians. He mentions power for the third time, reminding Christ followers for all times that God doesn’t follow man’s rules – and that, my friends, is a very real reason to worship. God can do more than we ask and more than we can ever imagine because the power that resides in every believing heart is God’s kind of power. Immeasurably greater.
So, what have you dared to ask? What have you risked imagining in your life of faith? It’s worth taking time to think about.
