SCRIPTURE: Mark 9:23 NRSV Jesus said to him, “If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.”
THOUGHT: “If you are able,” Jesus repeats the words of the man standing fearfully in front of him, and I almost hear him laughing. If I am able indeed! Don’t you know you stand before the one to whom all authority on heaven and earth will be given (Mt. 28:18)?
Jesus is able, and even now he is praying, interceding, fighting on your and my behalf (Heb. 7:25). So grow your faith, push your faith, ask for more faith to believe that he is able to accomplish what concerns you (Ps. 138:8 NASB).
Nothing is too hard for God (Gen. 18:14).
PRAYER: Jesus, I believe. Help my unbelief.
