SCRIPTURE: Psalm 27:14 AMP Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.
THOUGHT: This is the final verse of the Psalm I talked about yesterday too. King James language is particularly powerful: Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. If we will wait on God, trusting, at peace inside, confidently expectant, God will strengthen our hearts. 2 Chronicles says that the eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him (2 Chron. 16:9 NLT).
Waiting with courage + confident expectance + fully committed = strength.
