THOUGHT: This is from Hannah’s Song, sung by a woman who battled infertility and won – through prayer. She endures bullying and ridicule throughout her years of longing without giving up her faith. She knows what she sings about and if her own strength could have brought a child forth, it would have happened years before.
Whatever you are battling, whatever you are enduring, this truth is for you. It is not by strength that one prevails.
PRAYER: Lord, over and over you tell us that the battle is yours. Our fight is to keep the faith, pray hard, endure without giving up, and keep our promises to you when you answer.
