SCRIPTURE: For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn. Romans 11:29 NLT
THOUGHT: God keeps his promises. You have a gift or gifts and a call specifically given to you by God, and God will never, ever take them back. Don’t let people, circumstances, self-doubt, or Satan speak otherwise into your heart. You may thwart God’s purposes, walk in sin, turn your back, give yourself to whatever you perceive will make you happy or give you meaning outside of God’s will, and come, broken and bleeding, back to faith after the world betrays and abandons you. God’s seedlings in you will not die. If you turn and begin to listen for his voice, to seek what he would say to you and about you, the gifts and call will arise, nourished by the love and wisdom of a good father.

PRAYER: Sometimes faith seems easy, dear Father. Sometimes it seems mysterious and hard. But thank you that you do not fail, or falter, or sleep, or break promises. You’ve given us that firm place to stand, now give us ears to hear every word you speak to us and over us.
Dear Reader,
