Hello everyone.
Tomorrow, December 1, I’ll be starting an Advent series that looks at the second coming of Christ through the lens of the first: The now and the not yet. The miraculous and the mundane. Christ has come; Christ will come again. Maybe we don’t think about it often enough, or maybe the thought strikes a note of fear rather than joy. It may be easier to contemplate the miracle of a baby in a manger than the miracle of a savior returning to complete the work started that night in Bethlehem. The series isn’t written yet, so I can’t tell you how it all unfolds, but this is what God has put on my heart for December!
Would you be willing to share the devotional with friends and family? I’d like to grow the list, and if you appreciate this weekday ‘nudge’ for your faith, maybe someone else you know will too. Please copy this link and share it with others. If they’d like to be added to the daily list, there’s a link at the bottom of each devotion where they can do that. Thank you, and thank so many of you who send me notes throughout the year, responding to something God used to encourage you on your journey. Those notes urge me to keep climbing!
May the Advent of Christ fill you with hope,
Amy Clemens
