SCRIPTURE: For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. Luke 1:37 AMP
THOUGHT: Perhaps we think it’s impossible. Perhaps the laws of science say it’s impossible. Perhaps the loss or anger or unforgiveness say it’s impossible. Perhaps the distance between you and the people you love seems impossible. But this promise invites us to imagine a God more powerful than whatever we’re facing. A God that cannot be put into a box. A God who promises that, if he speaks it, it will happen. With God, nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.
I don’t know that anything else needs to be said. There’s just a lot that needs to be done. In our heads and hearts. To get us ready to trust a God like that.
PRAYER: You spoke the world into being. You called light out of darkness and order out of chaos. I am just a tiny speck in the cosmos, Lord, just one soul out of billions and billions. Yet you promise that every word you’ve spoken over my life has power and you will bring it to fulfillment. Thank you, God, that nothing is impossible with you. Keep speaking your word and your truth over us!
