Short & Amazing

SCRIPTURE:  He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. Deuteronomy 32:4 NIV

THOUGHT: Sometimes, there’s a verse that just says it all. There are so many descriptions of God in this one short verse, that it seems worth just listing them so our eyes can take it in:

The Rock
Perfect in his works
Just in all his ways
Faithful
Does no wrong
Upright
Just (again!)

If you can dwell with each of those words for a few minutes this morning, you’ve just had a devotional that will set your feet on a very solid place. This is the God we follow; this is the God in whom we have invested all our trust, our worldly goods, our children and marriage, our friendships, our careers, our hopes and dreams, our past and our future. He is faithful.

PRAYER: Oh God, thank you for the reminder in just a few short words, that you can be trusted in this often twisted, untrustworthy world.

Dear Reader,
