SCRIPTURE: Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light. Matthew 11:28-30 NLT
THOUGHT: Sometimes there is no need for comment or explanation. The only need is to stop and feel the promise deep in your bones where God puts the truth. The only need is to live out the beauty and simplicity of the promise.
Today is that day.
PRAYER: Oh God, I pray for each soul who is weary this morning – for each who is carrying heavy burdens. We pray you teach us, you who are humble and gentle at heart, teach us to carry the yoke you offer rather than our own.
