THOUGHT: It has never seemed more real or more compelling to me that Christ-followers are living concurrently in the world and the Kingdom of God. The world looks less and less like heaven and more and more like a place where giving up, losing faith, hopelessness, and anger spilling over is the norm. But God has said love is more powerful – and his kind of love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures though all may seem lost. Love issues an invitation to live in the Kingdom, even though we walk the earth.
